What I Said
I argued that AEHR’s differentiated product set and strong liquidity were not enough to offset the core problem: trailing fundamentals were still weak, with revenue down sharply, margins deeply negative, and cash flow still burning. I also said the valuation left little room for execution error, so the setup remained unfavorable until the company showed sustained improvement in revenue, EBITDA, and cash generation.

Why It’s Working (Or Not)
That call has worked over this tracking window: a short position would have gained 47.4% from my entry price, and AEHR has fallen sharply since I published the Sell rating. The stock’s move has also been directionally consistent with the broader peer set, which has generally moved lower as well, so AEHR has not been an outlier against its comparables. Most importantly, the price action has not contradicted the original risk-reward argument; the market has continued to treat the name as one where execution risk matters. On the evidence available in this review, the bearish thesis has held up rather than being disproven.
What Could Still Prove Me Wrong
If AEHR were to sustain a meaningful recovery from here while the peer group remains weak, that would start to challenge my view that the stock was priced with too little margin for error. A durable rerating would need to be backed by the same things I highlighted originally: improving revenue, a clear move toward positive EBITDA, and evidence that cash burn is no longer the dominant story. If those improvements show up and the stock stops behaving like a high-risk, execution-sensitive name, I would have to revisit the Sell call.
